Arc were instructed to design a replacement dwelling situated in arguably one of the most picturesque locations in the country. Situated on the waters edge, the plot benefits from 180-degree views across Christchurch Harbour and Hengistbury Head.
We worked closely with our clients to develop a bespoke contemporary yet functional family home. Internally you are welcomed by a dramatic central staircase that sits in a double height glazed entrance hall.
The space comprises of five en-suite bedrooms at first floor, a gym, sauna, snug, office and a spacious 1500sqft of open plan living space, that enjoys views across the harbour and beyond at ground floor.
The design adopts a simple yet sleek approach incorporating large format floor to ceiling glazing front and rear punctuated with a dividing tapered buttress.
