Designed to Passive House standards this eco house project incorporates the latest methods of insulation offering high levels of thermal performance and thermal efficiency resulting in minimal requirements for heating the property. The design uses charred larch cladding or Yakisugi cladding providing a natural protection from rot and insect attach, while also providing a natural finish that harmonises with the sylvan setting. Sedum roof provides ecological habitats and increases the lifespan of the roofing materials beneath.
