ARC were approached to design a replacement new build house located in the much sought after exclusive private estate of Avon Castle.
Sitting within an elevated hillside, this sylvan site offered the opportunity to design an exclusive family home. Working closely with the client we were able to achieve the perfect balance between practicality of space and a sleek modern design.
Split over three levels the house tumbles down the hillside and nestles within the heavily wooded backdrop.
The design incorporates a natural materials pallet using locally sourced Purbeck stone, timber effect cladding and glass. The floor to ceiling glazing throughout maximises the opportunity to enjoy the scenic country views whilst letting light gleam from all angles.
