Located opposite The Poole Planning Department in The Civic Centre, the former Poole Police Station is a prominent building in Poole and its conversion into residential apartments required a sensitive approach respecting the existing buildings Art Deco inspired architecture.
Our conversion scheme demolished the old cell blocks to the rear of the Station and created a new contemporary wing to the rear courtyard giving the building a "C" shaped plan form. A raised seam upper floor podium has also been added to the old flat further adding to the internal accommodation, in total the scheme has achieved 52 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
